Do you want to find your family’s history but don’t know where to start? In this presentation, you’ll learn the basics of genealogy research so you can confidently start your own family history project. Presenter Jill Fuller will walk you through the steps of the research process and include a case study so you can see the steps in action!

Speaker bio: Jill Fuller (she/her) is a Reference Librarian and Stacks Manager at the Wisconsin Historical Library. She has a B.A. in history from Winona State University and an MLIS from UW-Madison. She loves uncovering information and helping others find connections between the present and the past. A proud member of the Louisa May Alcott Society, she’s also co-creator of the podcast Let Genius Burn.
