Program Description

Event Details

"Join us for a joyful, interactive program that brings the beloved book Giraffes Can’t Dance to life through movement and imagination. Children and families will enjoy a narrated storytime with felt characters, followed by a playful ballet lesson where young movers learn simple ballet steps. Along the way, participants will explore how choreographers create new dances, discovering ideas like space, rhythm, and movement quality and learn that there are many different ways to move and express yourself. Perfect for inspiring creativity, confidence, and a love of dance!"

For children ages 3yr+, but younger siblings are also welcome.
