Book Club
Registration Required | Ages 5-9 NEW in February: due to high demand, we will be expanding the age group of our participants as well as the number who can register for Book Scouts! We will have two staff members dedicated to two age groups: 5-7 & 7-9. We will share more details out later in January for those who are currently registered or who would like to register. Start the literary adventure of a lifetime with our book club for newly independent readers! Book Scouts will read books, engage in community helper activities, and earn badges for their achievements. Our group will read a wide variety of books--from graphic novels, illustrated chapter books, and more. The group will regularly meet the fourth Tuesday of each month to discuss our latest book and have a blast with activities and crafts. We will also enjoy pop-up opportunities to help support the community with literacy needs. Book Scouts will receive a specialty item that will hold all of the badges they earn throughout the program.
