Enjoy 20-30 min of Storytime with Angelika as she reads books, sings songs, and shares early literacy tips.
Ages 2-5 years old but younger and older siblings/friends are always welcome.
Our goal is to provide an opportunity to introduce children to reading and language in a fun way.
No registration is needed.

TODAY WE HAVE A SPECIAL GUEST, ONDJAKI!!! AUTHOR OF, "THE BIG EYES OF THE TINY GIRL".
IN COLLABORATION WITH THE UW AFRICAN STUDIES OUTREACH DEPARTMENT, ONDJAKI WILL READ FROM HIS BOOK DURING STORYTIME TODAY.
"Ondjaki is an award-winning Angolan writer and publisher. In 2012, The Guardian named him one of “Africa’s Top Five Writers.” His works – including poetry, short stories, children’s literature, and novels – have been translated into more than a dozen languages. He has also made films, written for theatre, and recently opened a bookstore and publishing house in Luanda, Angola.
The book is called The Tiny Girl with Big Eyes, it is beautifully illustrated by a Mozambican artist and tells the story of a tiny girl with big, beautiful eyes and the magic of emotions."
