Event Details
Clean Lakes Alliance is a nonprofit organization devoted to improving the water quality of the lakes, streams, and wetlands of the Yahara River Watershed. Their goal is to raise community awareness of the issues facing the watershed, advocate for the welfare of our lakes, and help procure the necessary funding to clean and protect these waterways.
If everyone takes small actions at home, we can create a big impact for our lakes, and countless other environmental causes. We can all be a part of the solution. In fact, you don’t need to live on the lakes to make a difference in our Yahara Watershed. There are small actions you can take at your home or business to make our landscape more resilient and add up to big impacts for water quality.
Adults, Teens and Tweens are welcome. Please register. Free refreshments and a door prize. Eco-Action Tuesdays is sponsored by MGE.
Please note: This program takes place off-site at San Damiano, located at 4123 Monona Drive. The program begins at 6:30 PM but you are welcome to arrive at 6 PM for a walk through the park with a Friends of San Damiano member for a guided tour!
